I keep trying to get this site going, only to find myself completely indulged and overwhelmed with a new project, which leaves me wondering… how do all of these “make money online gurus” that are apparently making so much money, ever have to time share their expertise with you on a daily basis?

The truth is that most of them are just teaching you from “theory” and haven’t ever made any real money online, or at least not a full time income. They are making most of their money off of YOU by creating false hope and unrealistic expectations. One of the main reasons I started my this site was out of frustration of all of these other sites I kept seeing telling people how easy it is to make money online.

I’ve never made an easy dime in my life and even if it seems like your making easy money when you actually go and look back you’ve probably done a ton of work over time to get to that point.

I recently attended a local Stompernet meeting and was glad to see that everyone there seemed to be focused and ready to work hard to achieve their goals. I usually don’t go to those promotional meetups and just attend the industry conferences (even at the conferences I just go to the show floor, and don’t bother with the seminars) but this seemed like a pretty down to earth group of local people, and it wasn’t a sales pitch or anything so I would highly recommend attending if you’re in the area.

I guess that at the end of the day I hope that my site can give people who are just starting out a real perspective and not one that is laced with my own affiliate links and ‘theories’. The one promise I can make to all of my visitors is that everything that I post on this site, I’ve personally tested. It may or may not have worked for me, but I’ll make sure to walk the walk, before I do the whole talking thing.
